Gigapass privacy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This is a translation, provided so you can understand it. The binding version is the Spanish one, and it prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
This policy covers the data processing of the Gigapass travel eSIM shop. The general moovi policy, which also covers fibre, mobile and TV, is in the privacy policy.
Who processes your data
The controller is MOOVI TELECOM, S.L. (Spanish tax ID B75242982), registered at Calle Rodríguez San Pedro nº 2, Oficina 409, 28015 Madrid, Spain. For any data protection matter: protecciondatos@moovitelecom.com.
What we ask for and what for
- Your email, which is essential: that is where the eSIM is delivered, with its QR code and the instructions.
- Your name, for the delivery and so we know what to call you.
- Your phone, optional, so we can warn you if there is a problem with your order.
- Billing details (name or company name, tax ID, address), only if you ask for an invoice.
- Payment details are handled by the payment gateway: we never see or store your card number.
On what legal basis
- To issue and deliver the eSIM and support you afterwards: performance of the contract you accept when buying.
- For the invoice and the accounts: compliance with legal obligations.
- To send you news and offers: your consent, which you give by ticking the box and can withdraw whenever you like. Not ticking it does not stop you buying.
Who it is shared with
- With the wholesale eSIM provider, the data strictly needed to issue and activate the line. It acts as a processor, follows only our instructions and cannot use the data for its own purposes.
- With the payment gateway (Stripe), to take payment and prevent fraud.
- With the email provider that delivers the email with your eSIM.
- With public authorities where a rule requires it.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The wholesale provider that issues the eSIMs is established outside the European Economic Area. The transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, with any supplementary measures that apply.
How long it is kept
For as long as our relationship lasts and, afterwards, blocked for the periods required by tax, accounting and consumer rules. Data processed with your consent, until you withdraw it.
Your rights
You can access, rectify and erase your data, object to and restrict the processing and request portability by writing to protecciondatos@moovitelecom.com. If you think we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
